My name is Gary Brouwer. I am aVMware Certified Professional, Trade Qualified in Electronics, PC Servicing and Computer Hardware Engineering, Sydney University Graduate..
Why pay for someone with vague or no qualifications in this unregulated industry?
You can call me for an expert, friendly, free, no obligation phone evaluation of your desktop, laptop, network, data, virus or wireless problem.
I have built, maintained, repaired computers and networks for over 20 years. I started with a Honeywell mainframe and still have my original IBM DOS PC. I can work with Windows 7, Vista, XP, OSX and Linux.
This is a 100% Australian business based in Darlinghurst Sydney . I do not have employees, it is not a franchise or a booking agency. I do all the computer repair work myself.
I work only by appointment only and usually within 10km of the Sydney CBD. This keeps my costs low and the service personal.
I speak plain English and you won't get treated like an idiot. If I don't answer leave a message and I will call you back promptly.
Regardless of who you call the FIRST step should always be to back up your valuable data if possible and then to have the problem properly diagnosed BEFORE any repairs are attempted.
So if I sound like your sort of computer repair person then give me a call in Sydney on 9029 1955.
Minimise your frustration and repair costs.
1. Have you checked the obvious?
Things like mains power good and all cables firmly plugged in? Have you rebooted/repowered all devices a couple of times. I have lost count of the number of times I "fixed" a problem by doing this.
2. Backing up should be your first priority.
If you cannot do this then call someone who can. A simple backup should cost no more than $99.
3. Make or get a proper diagnosis.
This should cost no more than $0 - $99.
4. Decide whether the repair is worthwhile.
This will depend on the problem, age of the computer and your preferences.
